Private wallets

Brand-new single-use wallets, one per position, funded from the shielded pool and sent home when you're done.

A private wallet is a venue account made from a new key for one position, funded once and sent home once. No two share an address, a key or a swap.

What makes one

Its own keyFrom your 24 words on a hardened path of Umbra Trade's own: m/44'/coin'/6874'/venue'/index' (coin 60 for Polymarket and Hyperliquid, 501 for Solana). 6874 spells MTSH on a phone keypad, so it never collides with a normal wallet's path
One positionAn order goes to the wallet that already holds that market; otherwise to a ready wallet that has never traded; otherwise you fund a new one. Another position's wallet is never used
A standard size0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5 or 1 ZEC, so its funding hop looks like many others

Each wallet lives once. Timings are 1Click's own estimates and Umbra Trade's scheduler; the wallet's timeline in the app shows each step as it happens.

A funding that NEAR can't complete is Refunded to a fresh shielded address. A step that stopped shows Needs you, with Try again; a funding that never sent anything waits for a new random start. Wallets that came home move to the Done tab.

Keep one ready

umbra-trade.vercel.app
Keep one ready on umbra-trade.vercel.app with the Hyperliquid switch on, a 0.05 ZEC size chip and Waiting for ZEC.
Umbra Trade workflow illustration — not a live balance or transaction receipt.

A trade waits for a funding unless a wallet is already ready. Keep one ready funds one wallet per venue, at the size you pick, while Umbra Trade is open and there is ZEC to spend. Turn the switch on with ZEC to spend and the first wallet starts like one you asked for, 20 s to 3 min later. Every wallet after it, the replacement for one you used or one made later when ZEC arrives, starts after a random wait from an exponential spread, 90 minutes on average and never more than 12 hours, so a new wallet never shows up on the venue minutes after your trade. The switch's line says when the waiting wallet starts.

Dust

Coming home costs a swap, so whatever is smaller than the trip is left in the venue wallet as dust, never moved into another wallet:

VenueLeft as dust
Polymarket, Polymarket PerpsUnder 1 pUSD
HyperliquidUnder 1 USDC
SolanaUnder 0.005 SOL

What the public sees

Every wallet has a What the public sees view: its record as a copy trader would find it. When it was first seen, its fills or transactions, its deposits and withdrawals and its open positions are read live from the venue over Oblivious HTTP. The link checks are made on this device against your own wallet list: its own key and path, no transfer to or from your other wallets, no shared deposit, refund or payout address, and one NEAR swap at a standard size. It needs a funded wallet, so there's no picture of it here yet.
